The broom man

Print on Hahnemühle paper, 40×30 cm

Limited edition of 20

Numbered and signed edition

Description

The Broom Man is an ink and Ecoline drawing on paper. The bodies or body fragments become signs or constituent indices, like a rebus, of the invisible narratives of the collective unconscious. Part of Priscilla Beccari’s work stages women in a bourgeois domestic universe of the 70s. The Housewife is an example of these myths that persist as much as fantasies as traumas. The sculptural treatment and immersive or intimate dimension of the paintings reinforce the mirror effect of our interiority. Finally, the demonstrated naive or playful style, characterized by innocence, evokes the naivety of consciousness opening. @Théodora Domenech
