Joris Verstrepen is a Belgian designer, born in West-Flanders. His design ideology is based on a very personal philosophical approach, which is tightly woven into his moral values. This ideology comes down to four pillars; nature, imperfection, craft and the senses.

Taking inspiration from William Morris, he hopes to broaden his skill-set taken from interior and furniture design, by exploring different creative practices such as textiles, ceramics and garden design. In doing so, developing a more holistic solution to solve our current world’s challenges.

His work was on view at Shak Gallery during their Stool exhibition.
Next showing in Milan with Isola during the Milan Design Week and soon for sale on The Artling’s platform.

Feel free to read more about his views on design in his manifesto.
