Geboren en getogen in Belgi\u00eb, verdeelt hij nu zijn tijd tussen Brussel, waar hij onderdeel is van het collectief Capitane Records, en het Deense eiland Samso, waar hij woont met zijn familie, groenten kweekt en liedjes schrijft. Michaux bracht het veelgeprezen debuutalbum &#8220;A La Vie A La&#8221; uit. Mort&#8221; in 2016. Zijn tweede album &#8220;Amour Col\u00e8re&#8221; is uitgebracht in september 2020.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Michaux schrijft en zingt zowel in het Engels als in het Frans en zijn muziek staat op het kruispunt van verschillende tradities : het grote tijdperk van het Franse &#8220;chanson&#8221;, de Amerikaanse songwriters, de Britse rock n&#8217; roll van de jaren zestig, de early new wave &#8230; Toch wordt hij geleid door een diep persoonlijke en onderscheidende stijl en geest. Zijn opnames, zelfgemaakt en levensecht, die een bepaald idee van moderniteit overbrengen : eenvoudig en biologisch. Michaux&#8217;s productiestijl schildert levendige sonische beelden geworteld in een diepe overweging van de muziekinstrumenten in kwestie en de texturen die ze oproepen. Als een landschapsschilder is zijn werk een meditatie op de levende wereld. Zijn &#8220;verf&#8221; is het muzikale spectrum.<\/p>\n<p>Amour<br \/>Col\u00e8re (Liefdeswoede) is een verzameling van tien betekenisvolle en gevoelige liederen opgenomen in zijn woonplaats Sams\u00f8 tijdens de winter en het voorjaar van 2019. Het is een tapijt van warme drums, korrelige baslijnen en soulvolle gitaren over die de karakteristieke stem van Michaux regeert, die ook de melodische instrumenten op bijna elk nummer speelt.
