some … things est un livre co\u00e9dit\u00e9 par le CFC et l’ISELP, consacr\u00e9 au travail de l’artiste islandaise Gudny Rosa Ingimardottir, \u00e0 l’occasion de l’exposition r\u00e9trospective qui lui est consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 l’ISELP.<\/p>\n

Silence, retenue et \u00e9conomie de moyens composent l’univers de Gu\u00f0n\u00fd R\u00f3sa Ingimarsd\u00f3ttir. Son atelier est \u00e0 la fois un cabinet de curiosit\u00e9s et un laboratoire exp\u00e9rimental o\u00f9 l’artiste fa\u00e7onne les mat\u00e9riaux \u00e0 sa disposition. Bouts de papier, d\u00e9coupes d’\u0153uvres ant\u00e9rieures pr\u00e9cieusement conserv\u00e9es, petits mots, traces, souvenirs… Autant de fragments \u00e9pars qui se m\u00e9tamorphosent et s’assemblent par une subtile alchimie, pour former un univers singulier o\u00f9 rien n’est jamais fig\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Gudny Rosa est n\u00e9e en 1969 \u00e0 Reykjavik (Islande). Elle a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 au Coll\u00e8ge islandais d’art et d’artisanat de Reyjavik au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1990. Elle a ensuite poursuivi sa formation \u00e0 La Cambre (Bruxelles) pour la terminer \u00e0 HISK-Hoger (Gand). Elle vit et travaille \u00e0 Bruxelles tout en \u00e9tant tr\u00e8s active sur la sc\u00e8ne islandaise.<\/p>\n
