Cyprien Parvex de Collombey, “The Jackson Pollock Symphony n° III”

Description

This print was made for the group exhibition MUSIC PALACE at the Boghossian Foundation (Villa Empain) in Brussels, from September 2014 to February 2015, in which 50 original drawings and a sound installation by Cyprien Parvex de Collombey were exhibited. It is published in 50 copies, each of which is unique: the artist first drew the score and title by hand on a blank sheet of paper, which was scanned and printed; then, on each print, Cyprien Parvex de Collombey freely composed, in Indian ink, his symphony as a tribute to Jackson Pollock.
