Dieter Van Den Storm's selection<\/h1>\r\nBased in Brussels, a public relations and design communication professional, Dieter Van Den Storm is a creative director and creative journalist. He is the creative and communication director at MAD Brussels, Home of creators.\r\n\r\nWe asked Dieter to highlight 5 of our exhibitors on our e-Supermarket and he selected 5 artists who question the ethical establishment of their sector.\r\n

\r\n\r\nPierre-Emmanuel Vandeputte<\/span><\/a>\r\n\"I have been following Pierre-Emmanuel's work since the beginning. It's fascinating to see how a designer gradually acquires his own voice and develops his own language of form. His steel furniture looks solid but elegant.\"\u00a0<\/em>\r\n\r\nDaan De Wit<\/span><\/a>\r\n\"The work of this young upstart designer is very poetic. His internship with Junya Ishigami in Japan has shaped him tremendously. You feel that this is only the beginning. I wonder what Daan has in store for us in the coming years.\"<\/em>\r\n\r\nFrizbee Ceramics<\/a><\/span>\r\n\"I love ceramics. The work of Frizbee is cheerful, colourful, artfully made. Their plates and coffee mugs with the smileys just make you happy.\"<\/em>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n
\r\n\r\n\u00d4KSQIN<\/span><\/a>\r\n\"The story of Brussels-based \u00d4skqin is entirely in keeping with the spirit of the time. Backpacks and bags made in cork. Vegan and ecological at the same time. No two bags are the same, which makes it even more unique.\"<\/em>\r\n\r\nVolmaakt<\/span><\/a>\r\n\"The Ghent label Volmaakt brings together local manufacturing companies and designers. So there is double pleasure when it comes to locally made objects. The result can meanwhile be seen in two dazzling collections. The stone bookends by Sep Verboom stand out.
