And happily so, because it confronts me only with the privilege of my own life. This awakening forced me to step out of my comfort zone and engage in protest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0px 0px 1em;padding: 0px;border: 0px;font-family: Roboto;font-size: 14px;line-height: 23.799999237060547px;vertical-align: baseline\" data-mce-style=\"margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: Roboto; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.799999237060547px; vertical-align: baseline;\">In my work on vases and slabs, I depict flora and fauna with naive, almost abstract drawings on objects that feel both brutal and fragile. They are like a solace to my troubled mind, fighting the darkness of reality with playfulness and poetry. A celebration of the beauty and resilience of nature.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0px 0px 1em;padding: 0px;border: 0px;font-family: Roboto;font-size: 14px;line-height: 23.799999237060547px;vertical-align: baseline\" data-mce-style=\"margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font-family: Roboto; font-size: 14px; line-height: 23.799999237060547px; vertical-align: baseline;\">The sculptures I create reflect the dualities I experience today and manifest in two series. On the one hand, I want to depict humanity as I perceive it now &#8211; witnessing atrocities through screens, feeling the urge to scream but remaining paralysed.
