Dr Cataclysm #3, La Flèche d’argent – Mortis Ghost

Still searching for their captain, Janos Cola, the crew of the Plescops have run out of concrete leads and seem close to a dead end! The notorious Fujiii underworld president has left a few notes about Janos in her logbook, but her information remains confused and unusable. And as if things weren’t bad enough, a strange gamma fog cuts the ship off from the outside world, forcing the crew to eat synthetic pizza for weeks! As the comrades of the mission settle into a monotonous routine, a disturbing and super-powerful character unexpectedly arrives: the bearer of the silver arrow. The third episode of Dr. Cataclysm once again gives way to narrative digressions.

Thanks to flashbacks that shed light on certain key elements of the story, we learn more about the origins of the Invisible Masters. While we were used to a quiet rhythm, the story is carried along by a breathless chase that announces a lively final section. Mortis Ghost’s drawing becomes sharper with every page and gives substance to this interstellar saga that is light years away from traditional science fiction.
